Little I had known about the Gilmore Girls. My friends told me to check it out when I was still in Pinas. Must admit that it's the least in my priorities to watch. Back in the day,I'd watch CSI,House,Grey's Anatomy,Veronica Mars,and yeah,diff. teleseryes in kapamilya! Hehe. When I got here and I finished the 2 seasons of Veronica Mars and the 1st season of American Dreams,I decided to buy the 1st season of Gilmore Girls. Since I had nothing to do,it was the best time to get to know the Gilmore Girls.And so I did. I never thought I'd get hooked that much. Right after the last episode of season 1,I went to Wal-Mart to get the season 2.Right after that, I knew I had to get the season 3.Then starts the chase for the box sets! Wal-Mart took it out for whatever reasons. In my desperate circumstance,I had to call every video store existing near our place down to LA just to get the 3rd season as well as the rest. I also have to wait for it to be on sale in Target coz if not,I'd be really broke down the drain. My birthday came,and my cousin gave it to me as a gift coz she knows how desperate I am to have it.Recently,i got the 4th one in Amoeba in LA coz of my quiet desperation. I gotta have the 5th and 6th before I go back home in Pinas. The 7th's gonna come out this Fall so kmusta nmn un? Hopefully,I'd get back here soon.
The reason for this chase? I just love their conversations! They're so smart,funny,full of sense,with real substance.It makes me love my Mom more,hehe..It's basically about everything in life;falling in love,falling out of love,arguing with your Mom and your Mom's Mom,with a friend,neighbor, and esp. having coffee!!! Though Alexis admits,her supposed to be coffee in the set is actually Coke coz she got sick of the caffeine! I just love the sarcasm of Lorelai. It showed how she faced the struggle of being a single Mom. It's really worth the wait!!! I can't wait to watch the rest of it. And yeah,their blue eyes are soo great. It's like hypnotizing!!! It's really highly recommendable..hehe
